Plaster is found almost on every monumental walls needing restoration. Our experience in restoring plastered surfaces has grown stronger after executing a high number of interventions on monumental civil and religious architecture having different characteristics, state of conservation and materials.
We perform the conservative restoration of the original materials based on stratigraphical, petrographical and particle size diagnostics. After identifying the materials and assessing their state of conservation, we consolidate and restore adhesion of plaster to the wall face, with a view to rehabilitate the original conditions and ensure the best conservation of the finishes.
In case of need, we execute desalting to remove excess salts, integration of gaps with materials having a similar composition, particle size and amalgam to the original plaster, and protective finishes respectful of the original colours.
