On-site testing laboratory
We make a portable laboratory available for diagnostics of the state of natural and artificial stone materials and finishes (IBIX MOBILE LAB, a IR thermal imaging camera, a metal detector). On-site diagnostics helps assess the current conditions of finishes, characterize samples, and control efficiency of restoration. The equipment made available on site throughout the duration of the works help us collect information about: • humidity of the environment and surfaces; • content in salts of ornaments, the main cause of de-adhesion and de-cohesion of layers; • metal elements in stucco artefacts and decorated layers.
