Metal alloys, especially bronze, is a common issue for conservative restoration, coming in statues, pieces of furniture or ornaments, either indoor or outdoor.
When outdoor, a major degradation factor is the acid content in polluted air. Acid rainwater triggers corrosion, altering metal surfaces and inhibiting the formation of protective films on them.
We use specially conceived cleaning methods to preserve the protective film and microcrystalline waxes as water-repellent.
